Each piece entered in the contest must be made of silver clay and include at least 3 pieces from
the contest kit.
Materials other than silver clay, such as stones, other metals, fibres, and beads can also be
used but must comprise less than half of the piece. Entered pieces may be rings, earrings,
bracelets, brooches, necklaces, and pendants. All design styles are welcome.
Send a jpeg image of your piece to contest@metalclayartistmag.com
Your piece must be labelled in the following format: your name_piece name. (Example:
MaryDunlop_tribalring)
Deadline:
April 1st 2010. Winning pieces showcased in the summer issue of Metal Clay Artist Magazine.
Winning pieces need to be available to be sent to Metal Clay Findings for professional
photographing.
Your designs could be seen by thousands of jewellery enthusiasts, along with your name and
website information!
Judging:
The entries will be reviewed by a panel of MCAM judges who will select the finalists. These
designs will be posted on www.metalclayaristmag.com, where the winning entries will be chosen
by online voting between April 16-24, 2010.
The winners will be announced in the Summer 2010 issue.
Prizes:
1st, 2nd, 3rd prize will win placement in a Metal Clay Findings advertisement. They will also win
gift certificates to Metal Clay Findings. 1st place $200 (US), 2nd place $100 (US), and 3rd place
$50 (US). Also there will be a write up about the artist and their winning piece in Metal Clay
Artist Magazine.
