A Word From The Contest Sponsor

Any contest is both a personal challenge and a group experience. At the individual level, the artisan takes inspiration from the theme and uses it to expand personal expression. This is an important process at the heart of any artist’s creative life. But the real beauty of a contest is in the insights gained from viewing the work of others who accepted the same challenge. Seeing the wide range of responses to a single challenge is both an education and an inspiration. PMC Connection is thrilled to be the sponsor of the next Metal Clay Artist Magazine contest. We have watched the magazine grow into an invaluable technical and artistic resource for metal clay artisans and we are honored to be a part of a process that helps artisans continue to push the boundaries of the art form.
