About Metal Clay Artist Magazine
Metal Clay Artist Magazine is the first print magazine devoted entirely to the metal clay arts. It is created by metal clay artists for metal clay
artists, and is designed to serve artists at all levels of experience, from beginner to very advanced.   

The magazine features a wide range of metal clay-related content, including step-by-step projects, articles, how to's, guides, tips,
techniques, artist profiles, and other valuable information about PMC(R), Art Clay(TM) Silver, bronze clay, copper clay, and mixed media
(including polymer clay and glass). Our publication has an international focus, with content, subscribers and advertisers from around the
world. One project in each issue appears in two languages.

Metal Clay Artist Magazine's mission is to share, exchange and develop ideas, promote education, inspire creativity, and increase
appreciation for the work done by leading metal clay artists worldwide.

Jeannette Froese LeBlanc  B.A., B.F.A., M.Sc.Ed.  

Jeannette is the creator and Editor-in-Chief of Metal Clay Artist Magazine. She began working with metal
clay in 2000 and obtained her Art Clay Senior certification with Jackie Truty in 2006.  After serving in the
Canadian military, Jeannette enjoyed teaching art and linguistics at both at the middle school and college
levels for 20 years. Jeannette always has been involved with artistic endeavours and is the consummate
teacher. This magazine is an extension of her classroom and studio.

Carl LeBlanc B. Eng

Carl is a relative "newcomer" to the arts having been a pilot in the military and now he works with the
Canadian government. About 20 years ago, Carl and his wife, started a pottery and jewellery making
studio.  Several years ago their business was too large for their home studio, so they opened a bead
store with a metal clay online shop.  Metal clay caught their attention in 2000, and they haven't looked
back since!  Now the family business is Metal Clay Artist Magazine, and Carl is in charge of the digital
edition and print distribution.

Margaret Schindel

Margaret has an eclectic business background encompassing fashion retailing, corporate training, and
online/digital marketing.  She launched her jewelry design business,
Polished & Put-Together, in 1998
and received her Rio Rewards PMC Certification from Celie Fago in 2004. Margaret also owns
CommuniConcepts, a marketing and training consulting business, and is the author of
a series of popular
metal clay "lenses" on Squidoo.com.

Judi Weers

Judi attended Colorado State University majoring in Fashion Design. She loves to experiment and stretch
the limits. This has led to finding various ways to improve a task or make something work. She has been
published in various magazines and books and enjoys writing articles and sharing her findings. Judi is the
owner of
Cardinal Creations and the author of “Tips and Techniques” for the Makin’s Professional
Ultimate Clay Extruder.

Pat Evans

Pat (AKA the Tool Diva) keeps her hoard of jewelry making tools in San Jose, CA. She is a Senior Art
Clay instructor and holds PMCC Level III and Rio Rewards PMC certifications. Pat has been teaching
about crafts and creativity to both children and adults for over 20 years. She loves encouraging
students to find and play with their inner artists (usually along with a nice selection of tools). She
enjoys designing and writing about all types of jewelry including metal clay, fused glass and wire
wrapping.

Carol Hamilton

Carol uses a combination of PMC, fused glass, fibers and beads in her jewellery. She is a level-three
certified/Senior Instructor for PMCC and Rio Grande certified by Tim McCrieght. Carol is part of a
select group of juried artists whose working studio is open to the public at the Workhouse Arts Center,
Lorton, Virginia.  Her jewellery is being worn in Hollywood by talent on E-Channel.

Angela is a jewellery designer and maker living in France, where she teaches metal clay and makes
her line of handmade jewellery under the name "L'Ange Est La".  She is also president of the Guilde
PMC Francophone, the French affiliate of the PMC Guild International, and Instructor's Teacher for
Art Clay in France.
